Suddenly, Anton shoots a cat, which leaves Zhenya shocked. Their friendship begins to resent. At nightfall, Antón tries to reconcile, but Zhenya rejects their friendship. The next day, at the bus stop, they say goodbye without speaking, with a silence full of unexpressed tension and guilt.
